Fim de semana sem nada o que fazer...decidi dar um rolê pela Irlanda.

Castelo de Blarney/Blarney Castle

Este é o Castelo de Blarney, antes dessa construçao de pedra (construída em 1210 d.c) houveram duas construçoes de madeira, sendo a mais antiga datada do século 10.

This is the Blarney Castle, it is the third one to have been erected on this site. The first building in the tenth century was a wooden structure and around 1210 A.D. this was replaced by the stone structure.

Reza a lenda que aqueles que beijam a Pedra de Blarney localizada no topo do castelo, ganham o dom de falar bem e a habilidade de expressar bem as suas ideias....portanto demoro hehe

The legend says that the gift of gab will be given to those who kiss the Blarney Stone located on the top of the castle...so here I go.

Esta estrada leva ao jardim do castelo, o jardim em sí nao é lá muuuuuuito legal nao, mas vale a visita.

Esta é a única das muralhas que cercavam o castelo que ainda está em pé, elas serviam de proteçao em caso de ataque.

This is the last of the great walls which once surrounded the castle, they worked as a shield in case of battles.
